MetaMask
MetaMask is a popular browser-extension and mobile self-custody wallet. It lets you hold private keys locally in your browser or phone, sign transactions, and connect to decentralized applications. On Polymarket, MetaMask is supported as a wallet connector via the EIP-6963-compatible integration, allowing you to trade with your existing MetaMask account and pUSD balance.
In context
When you connect to Polymarket using MetaMask you will typically see a standard permission prompt to share your account address and to sign transactions. Polymarket’s Relayer sponsors gas for on-chain actions, but MetaMask still manages key signing and any approval interactions the Relayer requires. If you use MetaMask on Polygon (chain ID 137) you can trade with pUSD once the wallet is connected. Polymarket also supports other connectors; if you prefer a non-extension flow, see walletconnect.
